Lincoln achieve highest ever ranking in national league table
25 June 2019
The University of Lincoln has risen to 17th in The Guardian University Guide 2020 (out of 121 UK universities), its highest ever position in the highly regarded league table.
In addition to placing in the top 20 universities in the UK, hospitality, event management and tourism courses were ranked the best in the UK, with chemistry (2nd), history, journalism, publishing and public relations (7th), pharmacy and pharmacology (8th) and film production and photography (9th) also making the top ten.
This latest success follows a series of great achievements over the last year including a multi-million pound grant to advance research into a ‘Holy Grail’ medical imaging system for cancer patients, the establishment of Lincolnshire’s first medical school in partnership with the University of Nottingham, and a top 10 ranking in the National Student Survey.
