Overview

DLD College London is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in the UK which has built a strong reputation among students, parents, schools and universities since 1931. DLD College aims to maintain a ‘gold standard’ of educational quality. Classes are small, enabling students and teachers to focus upon the most effective ways of learning. DLD stretch and challenge students, motivating them and raising their own expectations of themselves. The DLD learning community is supported by an e-learning platform.

While the College is strong in all academic areas, creative arts are transparently successful and the theatre, art and design, music and photography studios are exciting places to learn. DLD College moved to a new state of the art location in September 2015. It features:

• A dedicated music studio suite comprising three rooms and three practice rooms with 10 iMacs running the latest versions of Logic and Sibelius software, and with two mixing desks. 
• Three art studios, graphic suite and a photography studio and classrooms.
• Four study areas for independent learning or group work.
• Learning centre equipped with PC’S and areas for private study (supervised).
• Under 16’s Study areas equipped with computers (supervised) and open space learning.
• 5 private tuition rooms for one on one learning.
• 70 seat theatre with state of the art LED lighting . The theatre is also equipped with a cinema screen and surround sound.
• Atrium with film projectors and surround sound.
• Gallery with (cosy) seating for student group work.
• College nurse with onsite medical facilities.
• Separate laboratories for Biology, Chemistry and Physics equipped with interactive touch screens.
