Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is a university-level education institution based across west and northwest Ireland in Letterkenny, Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Connemara, Mountbellew, and Galway City. ATU is the fourth technological university in the country, which was established after merging three of the best universities in Ireland that focus on imparting technological education.
Students can choose from a wide range of undergraduate courses and several postgraduate (Masters and/or PhD) courses. ATU provides students with a transformative university experience, empowering graduates to fully contribute to society's social, economic and cultural betterment when they study in Ireland.
The west and northwest of Ireland offer some of Ireland’s most striking and unique natural landscapes, and courses at ATU are internationally accredited and are available at all levels of study.
Campus facilities at all ATU campus locations include cafes and restaurants, libraries, IT facilities, gyms, pitches, fitness centres, shops and banking. All ATU campuses have an active Students’ Union, which is instrumental in helping international students from around the world feel at home.
As the university is located in various regions of the country, students are provided housing in different settings. Most campuses have purpose-built student villages that offer high-quality living and broadband access with other services for comfortable living. A few campuses do not have these residential options. Still, the student union at ATU has compiled a comprehensive list of accommodation options for those campuses in and around the city, which helps students find the perfect place to stay while studying there.
Atlantic Technological University is a multi-campus institution in areas with bustling cities and Atlantic coastal towns. The students can explore diverse experiences through such locations while participating in the student community. The major campuses at ATU are in Galway City, Letterkenny, Killybegs, Sligo, St. Angela's, Mayo, Mounbellow and Connemara. Each area houses different university faculties, making ATU a widely spread institution across Ireland.
The IT facilities at ATU include computer labs, software resources and e-learning platforms that not only help students on campus learn but also provide knowledge to students applying to the online courses.
ATU has a Careers Office that provides information, advice and guidance to students in finding the right jobs in Ireland after graduation.
There are several courses in the arts and humanities fields that one can do if they don't have maths.
My consultant was very helpful and motivating. She helped me every step of the way, even when the deadline was so close. I feel I could not have done it without her. I'd highly recommend this service to any and all of my many friends interested.
