The National College of Ireland (NCI) is a not-for-profit state-aided higher education institute. It is located in Dublin’s city centre, known as the ‘Silicon Valley of Europe’ and has strong links with US universities like Stanford and Cornell in the development of cloud computing courses.
The School of Business sits within reach of the world’s leading banks and consulting companies and NCI works closely with industry and professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Commercial Management to ensure courses are closely aligned with industry needs. The main faculties at NCI are the School of Business, School of Computing, Cloud Competence Centre and Psychology and Education Department.
NCI has an international office dedicated to providing support services to international students from over 80 countries. There is a Students’ Union to provide support services and host events, lead clubs and societies and state of the art fitness club located adjacent to the campus.
Work placement programmes are also available to help further during and after studies and the Norma Smurfit Library is accessible for all.
NCI's student accommodation facilities are located adjacent to Dublin City Centre with a selection of rooms reserved for international students.
The National College of Ireland is conveniently based in the IFSC, which is located adjacent to Dublin's City Centre. The campus is well serviced by an excellent public transport network.
