2020 National Student Survey results announced

Students in the UK are more satisfied with their courses compared to 2019, according to this year’s National Student Survey.
Overall 84 per cent of the 330,000 students in the UK who responded to the survey were satisfied with the quality of their course, rising from 83 per cent last year. The University of St Andrews topped the survey and Clare Peddie, a vice-principal at St Andrews, said of the findings: “This result confirms our commitment to the very highest standards of learning, teaching and student experience."
Aberystwyth University, the University of Buckingham (joint 2nd), University of Plymouth (4th) and University of Bolton, Leeds Arts University and Liverpool Hope University (joint 5th) completed the top five.
The Natonal Student Survey, carried out by the Office for Students, is one of the biggest student surveys in the world which, this year, captured the views of over 330,000 students across the UK. 72 per cent of eligible students from 403 universities, colleges and private providers took part.
