Oxford and Cambridge top 2018 World University Rankings

Oxford and Cambridge are the top two universities in the world for the first time following the publication of the 2018 Times Higher Education World Rankings.
The University of Oxford, which finished top of last years ranking, maintained its place as the best university in the world, while the University of Cambridge moved up two places from fourth. Universities are measured across a number of different areas including teaching, research, citations, international outlook and income.
Other UK universities in the top 50 included Imperial College London (8th), University College London, (16th), London School of Economics and Political Science (25th), University of Edinburgh, (27th) and King's College London, (36th).
